How to Delete Your Data

A step-by-step guide to managing, requesting deletion of, or permanently removing your personal data from NutriSnap.

Choose How to Delete Your Data

NutriSnap gives you two ways to remove your personal data. Choose the option that works best for you:

Option A โ€” Request Deletion
Submit a request and our team will process it within 7 business days. Your account stays active until complete.
Option B โ€” Delete Account
Permanently delete your account and all data immediately. This is instant and irreversible.

Request Data Deletion Recommended

This option sends a formal data deletion request to our team. You'll receive a confirmation email, and we'll process the deletion within 7 business days. Your account stays active until the process completes.

Steps

  1. Open the NutriSnap app and sign in to your account.
  2. Tap the โš™ Settings icon in the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Select Privacy from the settings menu.
  4. In the "Your Data" section, tap Request Data Deletion.
  5. A confirmation dialog will appear. Review the details, then tap Yes, Request Deletion.
  6. You're done! Check your email for a confirmation with your request ID.

What happens after you submit?

Delete Your Account Instantly

This permanently deletes your account and all associated data right away. This action is immediate and irreversible โ€” there is no undo.

Steps

  1. Open the NutriSnap app and sign in to your account.
  2. Tap the โš™ Settings icon in the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Select Privacy from the settings menu.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap the red Delete Account button.
  5. Type DELETE in the confirmation field.
  6. Enter your password to verify your identity.
  7. Tap Delete Permanently. Your account and data are removed immediately.

โš  Warning: This cannot be undone. Once deleted, your meals, photos, exercises, recipes, weight history, and all other data are permanently gone. If you're unsure, use Option A instead.

What Data Is Deleted?

Regardless of which option you choose, the following data is permanently removed:

Data retention

For Option B (Delete Account), all data is deleted immediately upon confirmation. For Option A (Request Deletion), data is deleted once our team processes your request (within 7 business days).

In both cases, backups may be retained for up to 30 days as part of routine disaster-recovery processes, after which they are permanently purged. Anonymized, aggregated analytics data (which cannot identify you) may be retained for product improvement.

Can't Access the App?

If you've lost access to your device or can't sign in, you can still request data deletion by emailing us directly.

Please include the email address associated with your NutriSnap account. We'll verify your identity and process the deletion within 7 business days.

Want a Copy of Your Data First?

Before deleting, you can request a copy of your personal data. Go to Settings โ†’ Privacy and tap Request Data Download. Our team will prepare a sanitized export and send it to your registered email within 30 days. This way you have a personal backup before removing anything.
